Hi
Heidi and Beth,
I have been meaning to email you
pictures of Stella, but my life has been so hectic!! I can not
begin to describe to you how much love she brings to my life.
She is a bundle of fur and joy to me.
My Dad was recently extremely sick.
He unfortunately, went into something called Septic Shock. He
had a prostate biopsy and when they went in he had an abscess
that ended up exploding into his blood stream. It was one of the
scariest moments of my life. They basically gave my Dad a 20
percent change of living. The doctors ended up finding an
antibiotic that was able to stop this bacteria from eating away
at his entire body. He is doing so much better and is on the
road to recovery. Stella is one of the main reasons why he is
doing so well. He LOVES her so much and she brings such a smile
to his face every time he sees her. When my Dad was sick, I went
home one night and picked her up from my friends house because
all I wanted to do was cuddle and hug her. I knew she would make
me smile and make me feel loved. She was my connection to my Dad
when he was sick.
I am attaching some pictures that I
have of her. She is so funny and has such a personality. I take
her with me everywhere. Where ever we go, we get stopped because
people just want to hug her.
Thank you for giving me such a mush
of a puppy. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Take Care, Emily

I adopted trouble at the end of December. He is such a
personality that our vet has made several comments about his
friendliness intelligence and beauty. he is black with white
tipped paws and tail with a great white neck. he is extremely
playful as well.
We now have a pup who weighs in at 4.5 lbs already! (just turned
3 months) He really is the chow hound who'll cottage cheese,
yogurt and eggs as easily as chicken or beef.
Good genes, I say!!!

Hi
Heidi-
Happy Valentine's Day! So our beautiful Chloe (on left-7 months
now) was spayed on Monday. Bella, now 14 months, thinks that
Chloe is her "baby" and she was so depressed that she wouldn't
leave her bed for almost 36 hours. You were so right! They are
inseparable and Shih Tzu should always come in pairs. I can't
even begin to describe the love and joy Chloe brings to our
family every day. She is so smart and we trained her with little
to no effort. As a matter of fact, she has finally shamed Bella
into loosing a few of her not so nice habits! If only my lap
were big enough for three. Last thing I want to share with you
is that my husband, who looked like he was in a "coma" the day
we visited you and bought Chloe, is now "awake" and is so madly
in love with her that my human daughter is now jealous! Be well!
Thank you again and again,
Sue

 Hi
Heidi,
Just wanted to check in and give you a progress report on MiMi.
She is doing great and she is our little Diva. You can see that
from the photo. We had a question for you, MiMi had a brother
(Harley) in the litter from Pandora, and we wanted to know if
you have ever heard from them or have received pictures of
Harley. We would love to come up and see you but we know we will
come home with another baby..... See you soon....
Thanks, Lisa & Ron

I wanted to send you a picture of MooShu (one of Lucky's little
ones). He just turned 2 in December and he is my joy. He is so
gorgeous and smart. Whenever I take him shopping with me, everybody
stops to see my beautiful boy. He loves the snow and jumps around
in it like a rabbit. Hope you had a nice holiday. Here's my little

 Hi
Heidi:
Hope you & yours had a wonderful Christmas! Nutmeg (3years) and
Coco (7.5 months) are terrific. Coco has been a lively, spunky
addition to our family. She loves to torment Nutmeg and
vice-a-versa...She bites his long full ears and he jumps on the
couch and relishes in the fact that she still can't jump up. She is
a little chunkier, about 8lbs but still shorter than Nutmeg but
really so, so cute!
They ARE best buddies, did not happen in week one, maybe not even
first month but they love each other.
Warm Regards, Abby |

Dear Heidi,
Sorry it has taken us 3 months to tell you how happy we are with
Honey. She is the most adorable, loving, perfect addition to our
family. We've never been happier. She quickly trained to go outside
and now has free roam of 4 rooms of the house. She is so healthy and
sweet. We really bought the perfect dog from you and wanted you to
know how special she is to us.
Many thanks,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Santa Chloe!
I can't begin to tell you how much we love and adore her.
Honestly, she is the best dog I have ever had! She is training
beautifully and which is a great tribute to you as an amazing
breeder who gives her pups an amazing start in life! As you
know, Chloe is our second Shih Tzu as we also have Bella who is
now 13 months. I only wish we could have a third and of course,
it would only come from you.

Hi Heidi...Wanted you to know both Webster & Miranda (Mulberry)
are doing very well. Everyday Miranda wakes up & plays with
Webster....Nibbles at his ears & runs the back yard. Webster has
gotten spoiled. Webster is NOW difficult to feed. He has an
attitude & when it comes time to eat demands his food by barking
loudly in ones ear. He wants people food & won't eat dog food.
Webster is very special...
Myself as well as my family think of you & the wonderful
priceless gift you have given me. I can't express in words the
joy both Miranda & Webster bring to my home...Honestly you are
thought in this house in a.. "godly"... fashion. We always think
of you & the unbelievable joy you have brought to myself & my
family...
Both Miranda & Webster go the small dog run doggie park often.
It's beautiful with other dog lovers & the view of the LI sound
is the perfect place to bring them...Webster is insane with love
when he goes. He loves all dogs & knows when I say doggie park
or DP he knows he's going... Webster goes out of his mind with
joy...Miranda is a lady. She is shy at the park but is learning
to mingle. She is unbelievable full of love. She's is in my mind
the best shih Tzu in the world. Miranda is everything & more
that any dog lover could ask.. Truly a dream come true thanks to
you Heidi...Miranda know only one think it's love...she loves
all & is always so happy....besides being a drop dead knock
out...her personality is simple the best dog I've ever had by
far...Dress her in pink. looks great in any outfit...what a lap
dog. got to love it...
Webster is all boy...he's has an attitude but he's all
boy......Webster will talk to you in doggie talk & he's all
personality...He knows he's got the look...struts his
stuff...Loves toys & loves to wear his NY Giant gear to the
park. loved big time!!!!
Miranda goes to grievance group every other week so other owners
can see there is hope to find another pet. People hold her & cry
for they remember there own pet. I always remember my own
dogs Prince & Pookie who died so suddenly. Went to grievance
group & helped so much. Now I pay it forward by bringing some
joy to others with Miranda.....True dog lovers as you well know
....grieve harder & longer for there pets. The unconditional
love a dog bring is priceless. that's why people grieve harder &
longer over their pet ..then humans. TRUE.....So Miranda comes
with me alone to these meeting & we help others get over their
grief...
See how much good you have done Heidi....now I'm paying it
forward thanks to you...
.When people see a Heidi shih Tzu their jaw drops because you
breed the best Shih Tzu.... How well mannered & loving both
Webster & Miranda shows lots about there upbringing. It obvious
by your hard worked & the love you have given to this breed.
shows...
Both Miranda & Webster need to cut & groomed & a bath...so will
be calling asap.. Mike

Dear Heidi,
I just wanted to let you
know that Oreo has been a great addition to our family. He loves to
play fetch and say hello to everyone that comes through the door.
He waits every morning for my son's bus and when it comes his tail
wags and he wants to come outside with me to see Sal off. All the
kids on the bus have big smiles and yell "puppy"! These are all
kids with special needs and their faces brighten up when Oreo comes
out!
Evan, my youngest loves
Oreo it's his best friend. They have an understanding. They both
annoy each other and they both fight over toys! Sal is just now
getting use to Oreo and is finally petting him! He says: "Dog",
"Dog goes woof", and he also tries to engage with Oreo and play
fetch with him or run back and forth hoping that Oreo will run after
him.
I also want to thank you
for taking care of Oreo! I know that he is in good hands when I
leave him with you.
Thank you again for
picking the right puppy for our family.

Hi there,
I have just spent some time perusing your website and I have to
say I am incredibly impressed at how ADORABLE your puppies are
and how happy they all look! My boyfriend and I live in
Manhattan and are very excited to adopt a puppy. We are looking
particularly at males on the smaller side (between 4 and 8
pounds). We are looking to adopt after the holidays, sometime in
January. Do you have any litters planned for this time period? I
know it's a bit far in advance, but we've decided to take our
time and have everything ready when the time comes. Is there a
time we could come and visit you and your dogs?
Again, your puppies and full-grown family members are so
beautiful. I am a life-long small dog lover (I grew up with
French Bulldogs!) and have been debating for a long time over
what breed was right for me and our lifestyle -- your website
convinced me!
Thanks so much!
Sincerely,
Julia

Hi Heidi,
Just wanted to send you an updated picture of Rico, he had a
great first Halloween! He was a zebra. We marched in the
Merrick Ave parade, he just loves being around people and
kids. We were stopped so many times by admiring marchers.
"What kind of dog is that?", "I never saw a Shih Tzu that
color", "He is so cute".....Just look at that face how can
anyone resist!

P.S. I keep missing you when I stop by Exotic Paws. I must
tell you, your daughter is a sweetheart. See you soon!

Dear Heidi
Josh and I would just like to thank you for our adorable little
puppy! We named him Winston, and he is so adorable and loving. Thank
you so much for setting us up so nicely with a bed, toys, cloths,
shampoo and all the other extras! you really made this a wonderful
experience! We are over the moon with Winston:)
We really appreciate you being so helpful and informative with our
choice of puppy. After the last unfortunate experience with the
other breeder, it was so to come home with a healthy, gorgeous
puppy!
I'm attaching a link of a video I put up of him on YouTube, I
thought you may enjoy it.

Hi
Heidi, I am forever recommending you to everyone on the streets of
Manhattan. It's pretty easy because I get stopped regularly with Tommy.
He's the greatest little guy in the world and he's stunning just like
his mommy, Maui. He truly looks just like Maui. I wanted to be able to
print out Maui's picture, but the website wouldn't allow me to copy it
by right clicking. Is there a way you could email me that adorable
picture of Maui on your website? My daughter and I would so appreciate
it. She also looks so sweet like him. How old is she and what type of
disposition does she have?Tommy is extremely
attached to me and my daughter and acts completely human. He loves when
we carry him around on his back. Although he is approaching 1 1/2 yrs,
he has retained his puppy like disposition. He enjoys teasing my older
Shih Tzu, who is turning 9 this February. And when he sees me leaving,
he immediately hops in his carrying case. I'm embarrassed to tell you
that I feed him with a fork in the morning and he opens wide just like a
baby!!! Having him has been the greatest experience for me and my
family. I recommended you to my friend, Michelle, who just purchased
her little guy (Glamour Girl's son) in August. I understand that
Michelle's friend also purchased a little one. I'd love to say hi. When
you have a chance, please call me to say "hi" on my cell or at work.
All the best,

Heidi, I was just looking at your site! WOW! I couldn't stop
looking! You have such gorgeous dogs!
I know that Jeanette, Kobe's mother, got him from you.
She contacted me when Kobe got lost, as I am the
organizer of the NYC Shih Tzu Meet up, and needless to
say, a great Shih Tzu lover. I am sick over his
disappearance, and having never met Jeanette, decided to
go out there and help her try to find Kobe, about two
weeks ago. She raved about you as a breeder.
I have a few people in my group (which now numbers 529
Shih Tzu!) who got their dogs from you and they are all
gorgeous. Please feel free to tell anyone who gets a
Shih Tzu from you to join my group as we have meet-ups
and active message boards all about Shih Tzu. The site
is
www.shihtzu.meetup.com/10.
I myself am a great Shih Tzu lover and have five Shih
Tzu. I had six, but lost one of my almost 13 year olds
back in July. I was heartbroken. He died in my arms.
His name was Taylor and he was liver and white. I have
his brother, Brandon, and sister, Brittany who are both
black and white, and from the same litter. I adopted
them all at the same time from someone in my
neighborhood who had the mother and father. That
started my love of Shih Tzu! I had previously had
Samoyeds and poodles. I adopted a now 4 year old white
Shih Tzu from the ASPCA two and a half years ago whom I
named Dustin. He was very sick and had a liver shunt
and aggressive behavior including biting. Within two
months, he had his liver shunt corrected and turned into
a loving, sweet dog who does not stop kissing. Two
weeks after I got Dustin, I adopted another Shih Tzu,
Chase, from someone on Long Island who gave him up. He
is the sweetest, best behaved dog, who sleeps on his
back, and is a strawberry blond color. I know nothing
of his background, except that he was 7.5 years old when
I adopted him (his just turned 10) and the woman lived
in Huntington. She told me she was Chase's second
mother, as his original owner got sick and had to give
him up. She had been babysitting him at the time and
adopted him. She, herself, was giving him up because
she had a 16 month old baby and was pregnant again and
was moving in with her in-laws where she could not have
a dog. She dropped him in my lap in Penn Station on
Westminster Weekend in 2007 and walked away. I had told
her I would try to find him a home, but took one look at
this absolutely gorgeous Shih Tzu lying in my lap, and
told myself that no one was going to get him; he was
mine! I think that this dog may have come from you as
he is from Long Island and from a breeder, and looks
exactly like your dogs. He is less than 10 lbs with a
smushed in face and a black mask. He is so sweet and
has modeled and is a therapy dog. Could he have
originally come from you? I adopted my last dog about a
year and a half ago, Cody. He was given up by his owner
who was a member of my group. I was originally boarding
him as she did not know if she was going to give him
up. She wound up giving him up to me and of course I
fell in love with this big, black and white Shih Tzu who
knows every trick in the book.
I love the chocolate and black Shih Tzu. You have the
most awesome dogs on your site. If anyone ever gives a
dog back for any reason, please let me know as I would
be thrilled to adopt an adult. I would also be thrilled
to adopt any dog who you have who retires from
breeding. Your dogs are beautiful and you have a
wonderful site. I will recommend you to anyone who
inquires of me where to get a Shih Tzu and who is a good
breeder. I get a number of these inquiries. Also, if I
am in the market for a gorgeous puppy (I can never
resist them!) I will definitely contact you.
I live in Manhattan and would love to come out to your
place some Saturday to look at and play with your dogs.
I would also love to visit your store as I am a
"collector" of dog clothing, accessories, bags and
beds. (I truly have over 1,000 items of dog stuff, from
dresses to beds to strollers.) I also go to all the dog
trade shows and know all the vendors and manufacturers
from across the nation. From what I have seen in your
pictures, you have great stuff in your store.

Hi Heidi and Beth,
Just wanted to update you on my sweet little puppy Coco Chanel.
I adopted her from you about 6 months ago - she was Honeychild and
Mr. Buttons'
litter from 9/27/08. She is doing great now and me and Mike love
her to death. She is 8 months old now and weighs 7.8 pounds -
although we may be overfeeding her a little bit and need to cut
down. She is a sweetie pie and not yappy at all. The only time she
barks is when she's play fighting with Mike or if she's being a brat
on occasion and wants to be let out of her playpen. Otherwise, she
could hang around me for hours without making a peep. She loves
people and will try to lick and play with everyone she sees. But
she's not really into other animals - she backs away the second any
dog or cat (even tiny kittens!) gets the least bit aggressive - we
call her our scardy-pansy dog. She's not super smart, but we've
taught her a few tricks that she knows really really well - sit,
down, OK (before she can leave her playpen or pick up a treat on the
floor) and paw. We try to walk her twice a day - but we skip out
when it rains, because she just gets way too dirty even if it’s just
drizzly.
So, thank you both for giving us our Coco puff!! - I would send a
pic, but I'm at work. But I do notice that she is a lot better
looking than Shih-Tzu we see around the vet or parks. Maybe that's
why other dogs don't like her - she's too cute. We are looking
forward to adopting another puppy - but may need to wait a while
until Coco is more mature. We are thinking of getting a boy to even
things out in the household, but I've kind of gotten used to having
a girl and I don't really want to deal with leg lifting. Also, Coco
has a great friendly personality (before and after she got spayed),
so maybe another little girl would be good for us.
Anyways, I'll let you know when we really want to adopt again.
Thanks and have a great summer!
Jessica

Dear Heidi,
We just wanted to say hi and give you an update on
our puppy Gino. He is doing great!
He is such a special little boy. Although we are a little
tired from the middle of the night wake up calls (which are
already getting much better), we are having the time of our
lives with him.
He is so playful and curious. He loves people and his toys!
Sometimes he even barks to go outside and then does his
business! I can't believe an 8 week old puppy is training
himself!
We just want to thank you again for raising such sweet and
beautiful dogs!
We will send you pictures as soon as we download them from
the camera...
We will keep in touch,
Angela and Brian and children (including Gino!).

all his shots to graduate to the street! (lol) The minute I took him
home he snuggled right into his bed in his play den. His favorite
play thing is a beach ball, he can't get enough of it. The kids roll
it around and he chases it. So much fun! And everyone says puppies
are a lot of work.....not if they come from Exotic Shih Tzu!

Hi Heidi,
I
can't express in words the joy both Webster & Miranda have brought
to me & my family. The unconditional love given by both these
Shih-Tzu. Webster is a love machine.. He loves all & has a great
personality. Miranda just wants to be held in your arms 24/7. She is
outstanding & can't thank you enough for both dogs.

Hi Beth and Heidi,
I just wanted to send you an update on
Lola ( Razzle &
Bacci 12/20). She
is 4 1/2 months old and weighs just about 4 lbs. Her color
is turning a beautiful strawberry blonde. She is a
wonderful addition to our family. We couldn't be happier!
She is one spoiled princess!!! Lola loves her Chewy
Vuitton and loves to play fetch with just about anything.
My boys, Steven & Ryan, just love her to pieces. They can't
get enough of her. Here are a few recent pictures:

Thank you so much for producing such a beautiful breed. I
am hoping that someday I can convince my husband that
Lola needs a chocolate liver
playmate!!!

to play and run. She's four months old and a little over 4 lbs. now, and
will definitely be a little peanut fully grown.
Thanks again, and you breed
awesome dogs!

Here are some new pictures of Lexie! She is

new she meets. Now that Spring is here, every
morning she stares out the window listening to
the birds singing! (Not sure what she would do

I
just wanted to let y’all know how much I loved
visitation time on Saturday! I’ve already passed
pictures around (I know I shouldn’t, but I just can’t
help it!). Heidi, it was nice to finally meet you, even
if it was just for 10 seconds!
We plan on coming back out on the
18th, I will give you a time once it gets
closer. I just purchased a play pen today and a
Halloween costume. I couldn’t resist, it’s a little
skunk suit! Toooo cute!
Please take care of our little

Thanks so much!

Hi Heidi,
I received your call. It was so nice of you to follow up to see
how we are doing. I must say you make beautiful
puppies!!!!!! He is such a joy. I don't even want to go to
work and I can't wait to get home to see him. I'm like a little
kid when it comes to him. I love looking at your site . Each
of of them is a beauty. Make sure you continue to make more
.. They are addicting... I may want another one :)
When I was at your
house Beth mentioned I should take him to your vet for a free
vet check up in 3 weeks. I noticed the puppy (Still trying to
think of a name. I was thinking of cosmo and then I noticed that
his Dad's name is Cosmo. )
Again, all your puppies are amazingly beautiful.
Looking forward to
hearing from you.
Best regards.

Hi
Beth and Heidi!
Here is an updated
picture of Lexie and I can't believe Lexie is 9 weeks old already.
She is great and I love her more and more each day! ("Simply the
Best") and of course since I'm a protective mother she is spoiled!
LOL!
She is very
smart and I think she will be a jumper! She keeps trying to jump up
on my lap and almost made it but can't yet because she is too
little. I give her a couple of weeks and she will be flying!!! LOL!
Actually, she doesn't have to jump, one night she actually climbed
up my pant legs like a rock climber and landed on my lap. ! It
happened so fast and I was like OMG! how did she do that. Doggie
Olympics here we come!!

pictures of the little boy. He is so smart. I have taken him to

is. The one thing I am still working on is that he thinks he is a
German shepherd and wants it his way or no way. Trying to get that
worked on. Hope all is well.

Hi Heidi and Beth,
We are still on such a high after the Christmas delivery of our
beautiful T-cup. It was a Christmas we will never forget. She is the
perfect dog.
She gets prettier every time I look at her. Both of you were top
notch from start to finish. When we brought T-cup to the vet, he was so
impressed with the medical records and the paperwork we gave him. He
said, "You really did your homework and went to a great breeder." He
said she is a beautiful Shih Tzu -- we were so proud. We love every
minute with her. Thanks again--you may hear from a few friends -
everyone that sees her leaves saying they are getting a Shih Tzu.

I just wanted to give you an update on our lovely Ebony. She turned one

because of her size and baby face. The 27th of this month marks our 1
year anniversary with her and we were considering celebrating with the
addition of a new puppy. We are looking for a solid chocolate. Please
let us know what you have available. Here are some photos of her.

I took this picture of my little baby today while visiting her today and I
thought you and Beth would enjoy seeing it.
Words
can't describe how exited I am. Remember she is the daughter of Cosmo and
Mama Leonie born on 12/24/2008! The little red and white one but who turned
out to be Tricolor. Which is great!! She is so pretty!!!!!!! When I first
saw her on 12/30/2008 I knew she was the one for me.!
I lost my beloved Pom Pom (Pompy) in 2008 after 16 1/2 years and I'm looking
forward to a new Puppy in 2009 to love and spoil. (Yes she will be spoiled
because I am a very protective mother)!
I look forward to my Saturday visits and most especially the day I take her
home.!
Michele
P.S. And she will have a very royal name (my English Background) as my Pompy
did (Madame Pompadeur II) and my new baby will be named
Princess Alexis Annie the First and I will call her " Lexie"!

Heidi, I just wanted to thank you for your time on the phone today (Florida)...
:) I have just started my research.... I am thankful I have you to compare and
judge all of my findings against... I have found nothing that compares........
Your dogs are stunning and healthy and HAPPY :) I would love to jump on the
opportunity that you will actually be heading my way in just a few days and have
a chocolate baby available...I am just not 100% ready, I have a full kitchen
remodel in February and a trip to NY planned at the end of March. I do want you
to keep me somewhere tucked into your brain so that when I am ready this summer
you will be comfortable with the fact I live out of state. It is apparent that
just in speaking to it is a labor of love and seems like your business has
thrived because of that. I have half had the thought of breeding Shih Tzu's
here in South Florida... #1 I run with a dog loving crowd that spoils are dogs
more than our kids and #2 because this is a beautiful breed that is loosing the
special unique qualities we love so much in them because they are bred in
horrible conditions. (If you have any suggestions please fill me in. ) Honestly
I have only come across a handful of breeders and most of the dogs available
these days in my area are ALL from pet stores. I will be checking your website
often, and drooling... LOL stay warm , enjoy your cruise and thanks again for
your time.... Jen

Are you sure we did not get a baby from you? It sure
seems like it. I am in love with my 4th child Cooper.
He is the love of our household. The kids adore him and
he is our baby. We have him almost 3 weeks now and he
has adjusted so WELL. He is the most spoiled little boy
I know. Here are a few
pictures from his first Thanksgiving with Spencer and
Skylar of course and with his little cousin Chase. Also
big brother Tyler loves him and his new Dad treats him

Hello,
My husband and I are looking for a dog
and we were impressed with your website. Do you
still have your Black female called Brooklyn?
We are early retired, live in the
country with a fenced yard. We had to put 2 of our
Newfoundland dogs to sleep in December so we have
broken hearts. We are near Albany, NY so we could
easily drive to you. We are also glad you do not
ship your dogs and agree that it is very
traumatizing for them. We also could provide
references from our Newfie breeder whom we purchased
many of our dogs through the years.
Thank you in advance.

Heidi,
I found your website by
accident when I was googling Shih-Tzu hair cuts
for my puppies. I have never been so impressed!
I purchased my puppy, Sophie, from Oklahoma, and
more recent a solid dark chocolate female, Mytzi
Moya, from Alabama...Any who, I am in love with
the Shih-Tzu breed. My babies make my life
whole.
Are your puppies AKC, CKC,
or both? Your site is very informative, I delve
into learning new information how to best care
for my puppies. Thank YOU! For such a wonderful
site! I am learning more about my babies every
day. I am a 44 year old registered nurse who has
never owned a pet before, and I am soaking up
any and all information about my babies that I
can. I never realized what I was missing out on,
so much love, joy, and unconditional love.
I would love more than
anything to have another solid dark chocolate
female. She is REAL eye candy, and just a total
joy that tickles my heart! My Mytzi Moya is the
best thing that ever hit the planet!! She gets
away with murder!! Your puppies are adorable, to
say the least, I'm sure you already know! I've
never seen such cute black Shih-Tzu either! I
think it would seem a dream vacation for me to
come to New York just to visit your spa!

Hope all
is well with you and everyone at the store. Bailey is
doing so well with his friend Mollie. He is just the

gem when i got one a Lola and Mr Buttons puppy. I could
not ask for a sweeter, mushier, cuddle puppy than he is.
He is about 10.5 pounds. We love him to pieces. By the
way he loves his new dog food of the canine caviar. He
eats like a king. But he is worth it. Here are some

most fabulous little boy imaginable. He is also the
sweetest and most easy going little pup imaginable.
It's
hard for me to leave for work since I got him June. We
both have separation anxiety!!! It feels like we
adopted a little baby.
I never
thought I could love a dog this much. He is truly like
my little son.
Here are some
pictures of him to put on the website. THANK YOU so
much for this beautiful bundle of joy. Barbie and

We
bought a puppy from you in July. She was Pandora and
Tattoo's baby. She is wonderful and her color keeps
changing everyday. She is four months now and we
will be sending pictures. Her name MEME if you
remember. One quick question. We were told they can
eat fruit and I think it was blueberries but can't
remember. Whenever you get a chance if you could
help with the answer that would be great. We always
get compliments on her and she is beautiful. Thank
you again and we will be sending pictures.

We
just had to write to let you know just how glad we are to
have found your ad about Shih Tzu Puppies For Sale. We
weren't sure we were ready for a puppy, and now, months
later, we're sorry we didn't take two. When we came to see
the litters you had available in January 2008 we knew we had
to have a puppy. I also have to mention... we were so
impressed with the way he was already wee wee pad trained at
only 5 weeks old. We came to visit a couple of weeks for
your Saturday puppy visits before we could finally pick him
up at 8 weeks and everyone was so great!
Our little boy is a Lola
and Lucky puppy and he is 10 months old now. We have had
nothing but fun and excitement and lots of puppy lovin' in
our lives since we brought him into our home. He is our
most precious gem and the light of our lives. We receive
compliment after compliment on just how adorable he is, and
we must say, we agree!
There's
nothing greater than coming home to the welcome we get
after a day at work or just a trip to the store. (You saw
for yourselves when he came out from being groomed; the love
and kisses are the greatest!!!). He is just soooo
loveable... We just can't seem to get enough of him...
Thanks for taking the photos and for emailing the
copies. We appreciate how you and your staff take such
good care of our baby when he comes for his grooming at
Exotic Paws! It's always nice to sit and chat when we see
you at the salon. Hope to see you at DJ's next grooming
appointment! Thanks, again for everything!

P.S. DJ says thanks, too! :

Comments: I
had a Shih Tzu for 11 years, he was my everything.
Unfortunately, he got very sick and was diagnosed with
chronic kidney disease and about a month ago I had to put
him to down. It was the hardest thing I think I ever had to
do I am heart broken. Shih Tzu's' are amazing dogs, they are
extremely loyal and affectionate--& most of all always
manage to put a smile on your face! I am looking for a
little baby girl, preferably with dark chocolate coloring.
Please let me know if you have any chocolate females
available, if not please let me know about other females you
have available or any upcoming litters. Look forward to
hearing from you soon!
Thank you

Hello:
I found your add in puppies USA and i was looking at
your web site. You have some very beautiful Shih
Tzu. Are you located in NY state or NY. Im
located in Ontario Canada and have just started
out breeding Shih Tzu. I just sold my first
litter this summer. I have 3 female and one
male. I was wondering if you would sell one of
your puppies with breeding rights??? And do you
know how it works turning A.K.C. papers into
C.K.C. papers?? I really like Glamour girl,
Tahiti, Hollywood and Maui.
I'm willing to go on a waiting list for as long as it
takes.
I look forward to hearing from you

Hi Heidi,
Hope all is well with you and your new shop.
Penny is doing well and reached her 1st birthday
at 10 lbs 3 ozs. in June. We baked a dog cake
and had a mini celebration for her. She is still
an outstanding dog ! We love her and she has fit
in well with our family. I wish we could have
kept Chubby Checker but 2 dogs was too much for
us to handle. Annmarie still talks about him. I
hope you were able to find him a good home.
I
met one of your dogs tonight by a neighbor’s
house. This woman Jeanne from Bethpage was
visiting there, with her 2 Shih Tzu’s one who
she said she adopted from you in April. She said
she called you looking for an older dog 6-8
months and you had a tan and white male dog
available named Sonar. She said she met a women
Beth who she met somewhere in Melville who
turned the dog over to her. (it is a small
world) She is very happy with the dog. The dog
is very cute she named it Mikey and it was fun
to watch all 3 Shih Tzu’s playing together.
Penny was the biggest at 10 lbs!
I
still love looking a your website
Hope you are enjoying the summer!
Best regards,
Joanne
P.S. No home should be without an Exotic Shih
Tzu!

www.puppysites.com and found it to be very
unique and exceptional. The puppies seem
very happy and loved. The testimonials help a
lot in making my decision on choosing the
breeder. We would love to adopt a Shih Tzu
, and would like you to please guide us.
Please e-mail me some pictures and prices.
Thank you.
Have a wonderful day,

Hi from Ralph |
7/8/2008 |
 Ralph
is almost 2 now. He is part babysitter, part house
alarm, cute cuddler, a bit of a thief. He tries so
hard to get the cat to play with him. He is learning
to share his toys with Marissa. He loves to play
with his tennis balls in the back yard. He also
loves to sleep on the back of the couch watching the
neighbors through the windows. He lets us know
whenever ANYTHING is on our lawn!! He still sings
like his Mom.

find a Saturday that we can come out to meet you and
the dogs. I will let you know as soon as we pick a

Dear Heidi -
A year ago I purchased the most adorable bundle
of puppy from you who I named Chloe. Well, just
wanted to write and let you know she is my pride
and joy. Chloe just turned 1 year old and is
the best dog. She weighs a little over 9.5 lbs
and has been house broken for about 2 months.
From all I have read that is pretty good. All
the books say that Shih Tzu puppies are very
stubborn about training them to go outside.
I recently purchased a little house down in
Virginia about 20 minutes from my Daughter and
her family. My 2 grandsons l-o-v-e Chloe or
should I say she loves them. They are 8 and 4
and every so gentle with her because she is so
small. Chloe, from day 1, has been an excellent
car rider. For a 7 or 8 hour drive I hardly
know she is in the car. In fact, I have to
persuade her to make a "pit stop".
She has the cutest crooked teeth. It gives her such personality
and boy does she have a personality. She isn't
a "morning dog". She is asleep by 8 - 8:30 PM
(I usually carry her to bed, seriously) and
doesn't get off my bed until 7:30 - 8 AM. I am
up, showered and usually having breakfast before
she decides to get her lazy bones up. She has
quite a few toys and loves to play with all of
them. She has one that I got her when I first
brought her home. She loves that one the most.
It was 4 times bigger than her then and now they
are about the same size. At least once a day
she thinks the house is a race track and races
around from kitchen through living room into
dining room and back through kitchen as fast as
her little legs can carry her several times
without stopping.
Well, just wanted to let you know how happy I am
with Chloe. People are amazed at her
temperament. She loves everyone and everything
including birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc. She
sits on the deck with her little head through
the deck posts just watching the birds and other
animals we have in the yard. She never barks at
them just watches.
Attached is a picture of my angel, Chloe of
Akeru. I like to keep her face short because
the love that comes from those eyes is what is
keeping me going. Thank you for breeding such a
special dog.

Comments: I am interested in purchasing my first
puppy and after some research on many types I have come
to the conclusion that the Shih-Tzu breed fits me and my
lifestyle perfectly. I looked through your site
(wonderful display) and I feel really comfortable with
how you bring up your babies. I am looking to purchase
my new puppy by the end of July the latest (hopefully
sooner). Please let me know which puppies you currently
have available (color, size, sex, age, price and their
ready date). I am really excited after talking to many
breeders as other options as well and can not wait to
hear from you.
Thank
you! Sharena

Your website is beautiful. I enjoyed reading
the testimonials.
I

The pictures on your website are priceless. It
is so encouraging to see a website that is so
informative.

Lolly is
thrilled to be here. It is amazing. No anxiety. Only joy. My
goodness. She made herself right at home and pounced on her
bed as if to say, "I knew you were coming with me!" My mom
is absolutely thrilled. She says that Lolly is a happiest
little dog she has ever known and she thinks she is
wonderful beyond words.
(and very
smart!)
Teeny
Martini was a little sleepy at first. We tried karo
syrup....no....we tried water....no....we tried
LIVERWURST and he came alive. After 4 or 5 licked off
fingerfulls of liverwurst, he tooled around the living
room without concern, cute as a button. Lolly has
adopted him. At the moment he is sleeping up against her
in her pink bed (even though he has his own.) Jubilee is
watching carefully, and everyone has sniffed bottoms and
noses. We are doing very very well.
Mom tried
to call you to tell you thanks, and how proud she is of
her, and how wonderful little Lolly is, however your
phone is continually busy. So this quick email.
Talk to
you soon. It was wonderful, inspirational, to meet you.
Your boutique is by far the best I have ever seen, and I
thought I had seen them all. You leave them in the dust
for finery and quality and decor...and you are
reasonably priced, even your expensive items.
So
Lollypops' bed is comfortably settled next to and up
against the couch on an angle where she can see mom and
mom can see her. Next to her bed is a small sheep skin
covered stairway (that she used immediately) to go up
and down onto and off of the couch. Next to that is a
special bed pillow with a flannel cover for her to sit
on to be next to or between moms legs. This she also
immediately understood and has very much enjoyed.
Thank you
for all the joy you spread in the world.

Anyway,
wishing you continued success with Exotic Shih Tzus and

Hi Heidi
and Beth,
I can't
believe how quickly time has flown by - I haven't been
in touch since we picked up Piper (Hollywood/Hershey
pup) at the very beginning of March. She has been an
absolute joy and we continue to have more fun with her
each day. Your website doesn't lie - she literally stops
traffic (we have had people pull over in front of
oncoming traffic to find out what kind of dog she is and
where we got her) and with each walk we meet more
neighbors wanting to play with her.
I just
wanted to thank you and show you some pictures of her
with her favorite toys (I don't have any pictures of her
fetching tennis balls, but I've never met a Shih Tzu who
likes to retrieve like she does!).
Thanks
again. I know when we're ready for pal for Piper we will
be coming back to you!
Best,
Molly

I love your site!! I live in MA and am very interested in owning and loving a Shih Tzu. My future daughter-in-law owns a Shih Tzu named Abbey. We get to baby sit Abbey on occasion when she's on vacation, and have fallen in love with the breed. A few months ago, my Cairn Terrier, Lucy, passed away. We miss her and love small dogs, so I'm exploring the possibility of buying one soon. I'm interested in a male, black, that would not be more than 10 pounds. I'm a teacher and have the summers free, so its a great time to spend with a pup. I'm curious if you have a pup available, and what the asking price would be.

Hi, my name is Christy, I'm 29, I live in Wantage, NJ with my husband Jeremy, and I'm in love with your Shih Tzus. I've checked all the websites looking for a new Shih Tzu puppy and yours seems to be the best (I'm on it almost every day). It's apparent how much you love and care for your puppies and that's really important to us. Our Shih Tzu, Todo (our baby), recently had to be put to sleep about a month ago. She got sick and we couldn't let her suffer, but she had a happy life with us for 12 years and brought us so much joy. We really would like to get another Shih Tzu, and as soon as possible. Please let us know what puppies you have available and when we could see them. If possible, we would like a small small female, maybe dark chocolate. The one on your site with blue eyes is gorgeous! - but we would love any of them. My husband is in love with your Tokyo Rose and her toothy grin! Anyway, we look forward to hearing from you soon - please.
Thanks, Christy |

Hi Heidi,
This is
Alana
writing to
say hello.
My little
baby is
doing great
he is
getting big
he is 5lbs
and very
playful.
He's
learning
sit, lay
down and up,
and I tell
him to go
sleepy and
he go to
sleep. Heidi
he is so
smart and I
love him a
lot. I just
wanted to
say hello
and let you
know how big
"Ozzy" is
getting...
and he is in
a really
good and
happy home.

Maggie and I have made it though the first month together...she is a doll. Just had her 4 month vet check-up, she's gained 1 pound... now up to 4.5 lbs. She is perfectly paper trained, not one accident!
And... She sleeps through the night...what more can I ask for!
She is camera shy, but I was able to sneak in a few pictures...thought you would like to see these....

Hi,
I have recently started doing research on Shih Tzus as I am interested in welcoming one into my home. I have been to many different websites and yours has impressed me the most. At first I was just going to go to a pet shop. This is all new to me, and I really want to make sure I know what I am doing before I get one. Can you take me through the process? I mean when I became a new mother of my first born he didn't come with instructions! Although I did have guidance, and learned as I went along. I am nuts about dogs, and have missed not having one, since I was single. (25years ago) I want to be well prepared before I do it. I live in Queens, so I am not too far away from you. Please get back to me with more info.
Thank You very much,
Antoinette

are
stunning
as
well.
I am
searching
for
a

but
am
not
quite
ready
to
buy
yet.
We
just
lost
our
little
Meechie

(tiny

to
cancer
at 3
years
of
age....we
spent
a
fortune
trying
to
save
Her
but
it
was
not
to
be.
I
think
by
the
fall
we
will
be
ready
to
get
a
new
pup.
We
prefer
a
smaller
pup
because
we
travel
from
our
Florida
home
to
Staten
Island
about
4
times
a
year
-
small
pups
are
easier
to
go
into
a
tote
if
we
have
to
stop
- I
hate
seeing
pups
in a
car
alone!
Our
kids
are
all
grown
so
small
is
safe
here.
I
will
keep
looking
at
your
website
and
watching
your
pups
- we
will
be
on
Staten
Island
the
end
of
June
to
the
first
week
of
July
and
then
again
mid
Sept.
Either
one
of
those
times
I
hope
there
is a
litter
we
can
purchase
from.
I am
very
impressed
with
the
way
your
dogs
look
-
some
of
the
ones
on
other
websites
look
unkempt
and
rather
dirty.
I
like
that
I
can
come
pick
up
the
pup
and
not
have
it
flown.
It
is
important
to
meet
the
pup
first.
I'm
so
glad
I
found
your
website
- I
finally
feel
like
I
have
found
a
place
to
buy
a
new
pup.
I
look
forward
to
meeting
you.

He

Hi Heidi
and
Beth,
I am
writing
to let
you guys
know
that my
little
baby is
doing
good.
The
first
night I
slept in
the
living
room
while he
was in
his
crate to
make
sure he
was
fine. He
cried a
little,
the
first
night
but he
is doing
much
better.
BIG PLUS
on the
wee wee
pads he
did not
have any
accident
on the
floor.
He also
last
night
let out
his
first
bark,
after
the
cats. He
follows
the cats
around
the
house
and is
doing
great,
my
husband
and a
lot of
my
neighbors
loved
him.
Thank
you so
much for
raising
a
wonderful
baby, I
am
really
happy.
Everything
is going
smooth
he is
eating,
Beth
explained
he might
not eat
the
first
night.
My cats
are
getting
used to
him too
and
everyone
in the
house is
happy. I
will
update
you guys
on his
progress
and
eventually
send
pictures
of him.
Thank
you
again
for a
great
baby.

Dear Heidi-
My
husband
and
I
live
in
Fishkill,
New
York.
We
have
been
doing
a
lot
of
research
on
adopting
puppies
and
which
breed
would
be
best
for
us.
We
are
absolutely
in
love
with
the
Shih
Tzu.
Growing
up
in a
home
in
which
many
extended
family
members
lived,
one
of
my
cousins
had
a
Shih
Tzu
and
I
always
said
if I
could
get
a
dog,
they
would
be
the
one.
And
when
I
saw
your
Mr.
Buttons,
I
got
tears
in
my
eyes,
because
not
only
was
our
doggy's
name
Buttons,
but
our
Buttons
looks
EXACTLY
like
your
Mr.
Buttons. When
I
saw
him,
I just
knew
I
had
to
e-mail
you....I
felt
like
it
was
meant
to
be! Long
Island
is a
hop,
skip,
and
a
jump
from
us,
so
if
we
do
decide
to
adopt
from
you
it'll
be
perfect!
I
have
been
searching
high
and
low
for
a
good
breeder
and
some
don't
have
websites,
and
the
ones
that do haven't
really
appealed
to
me
the
way
your
site
did.
So
much
fantastic
information
and beautiful
pictures! You
answered
so
many
of
my
questions-although
I am
ALWAYS
full
of
questions
and
still
have
some
more
for
you!
Just
a
little
information
about
us
and
what
we
hope
to
accomplish...my
husband
and
I are
both
teachers, he
teaches
middle
school
and
I
teach
elementary.
We
just
got
married
in
July.
Our
plan
would
(hopefully)
be
to
get
our
new
little
darlings
in
June
or
July
so
we
can
spend
a
good
amount
of
time
with
them
before
September.
We
also
thought
that
adopting
two
might
make
the
transition
a
little
easier
on
them
(what
do
you
think
of
that?).
We
have
the
space,
so
it's
not
a
big
deal
and
I'd
be
in
heaven
with
two
pups!
If
you
could
just
provide
us
with
any
basic
information
about
the
process
of
how/when/which
dogs
will
be
breeding,
a
time
line
for
receiving
pups,
the
cost
(which
is
the
nerve
wracking
part!),
and
any
other
information
you
might
be
able
to
give
us
to
make
our
decision
easier,
we'd
appreciate
it.
Thank
you
so
much!
Your
website
just
made
my
day!
We
look
forward
to
hearing
from
you!

Heidi, Thank you
so much for
Ebony. We named
her Piper. She
is absolutely

She has made

I had my

love. She is
just such a
happy puppy. She
loves her crate

I know that
Gail has
been trying
to get some
pictures of
Mias little

both very
excited and
we are
looking

this with
great
anticipation.
I would like
to know at
what point
would we be

If you
remember I

horses .
I would need
to make
arrangements
to have our
barn sitter
be on hand
for the day
to take care
of the
horses.
We are
approx. four
hours away
and would
have to
those
arrangements
made with
her in
advance.
We have bred
an shown
many animals
of the years
we recognize
QUALITY
and
breeding
ability.
That is why
we chose you
for a dog
because of
your BREEDING
ABILITY AND
THE QUALITY
YOU PRODUCE.
I am sure
that things
must be very
hectic for
you all
setting up
your new
store
so when you
get a
breather
please let
me know when
we could
come down to
see her and
until that
time a
picture
would do.

Hi
Heidi,
Our Shih Tzu Penny is
now 4 months old. She is
5.5 lbs and is truly a
joy to have around. She
certainly has a great
disposition, and has
added a new dimension to
our family.
We took her to the
Blessing of the Animals
service early in October
at St. James church
where she was blessed by
Fr. Vinny. We are truly
grateful to have her. My
daughter Annmarie is
acting responsibly with
taking care of her. As
an active child, Penny
helps to calm her….
Check out the attached
photo of Annmarie Grace
with Grandma Grace and
Penny..
Feel free to use us as
a reference any time.
Regards, Joanne - Puppy
Mom
P.S. Let me know when
you open the grooming
salon, she will need a
hair cut soon…..

 Hi
Heidi,
I just wanted to write you a quick note
and let you know that I am absolutely in
love with Bailey (Lola & Mr. Buttons)
born 4/29/07. My daughter Sarah loves
him a great deal and thank god he has
the best personality and temperament
because she pushes him around in her
doll carriage.
Bailey also gives my parents Tippy (aka
Oliver) I think he was a shy puppy who
has the ALL lines. Well the two boys
play together great and hard they are
sooooo funny. We are just in love with
him and I would not trade him for the
world.
Thanks,
Juliana, Rob & Sarah

Heidi:
Nutmeg has been such a wonderful addition to our
lives. We have this on going joke in our house...How
many traffic stops today? This originated because when
I first talked to you you said "my dogs are traffic
stoppers!" We laughed at the time but now understand!.
Everyone absolutely loves Nutmeg (and his coloring)!
What really impresses me is Nutmeg's wonderful
temperament and disposition. When he greets strangers
he just sits and wags his tail and waits for them to
make the first move. He is very, very good with kids
too. On a daily basis he brightens my day.
Thanks Heidi, we would recommend Exotic Shih Tzu any
day.

 Hi
Heidi, just wanted to send you some updated photos of
Sophie and Hudson, Hudson's on the left in both photos.
Sophie in a glamour shot. They are doing great!
except for housebreaking that is. They love to go for
long walks. Sophie prances, Hudson loves to play with
balls. They both got rave reviews at the groomer there
first time. They are weighing in at about 6&7 pounds!
People have to stop and check them out when we go for
our walks. Hope all is well.
We will stop by so
potential clients can see two of your cutest puppies!

Hi
Heidi
Thought you might
like to see how one of your puppies is doing today.
This is Emi and my Golden Retriever, Duke. They get
along wonderfully. Emi is 4 months now and is doing
great.
Thanks
