At Exotic Shih Tzu our puppies are raised in Plastic play pens (3x3 and floorless). We purchase them from TARGET dot com, and strongly encourage you to do the same. Our Dogs or puppies are never caged. If you intend to cage your puppy, please don't buy one from us. They are not used to being in a cage and Heidi is totally against cages. Please purchase the play pen she recommends.

 Please do not be insulted if we ask you to wash your hands and were gloves before handling our puppies. We also ask that all visitors take off their shoes upon entering our home, Please do not come over if you have been to a pet store on the same day.  We have the puppies' best interest at heart with strict policies. When you are handling our  puppies it will not be until they are at least six weeks old. 

 We start our puppy viewing's and visitations at three weeks, without touching them. We do love to take pictures and encourage you to do the same during visits. 

Our  homes insures the safety and immaculate environment your puppy in raised in. Heidi is a devoted Shih Tzu lover and takes pride in what she does and it shows. She is always available daily for puppy visits 516-2364655, just ask before you come by.

We ask you when  you are picking out your new family member, it is smart to do your research about the breed, and get references (we have tons) from any breeder you may be adopting your pet from.

Not doing your homework could cost you and your family a lot of money (vet bills) and heartache.

Clean, sanitary conditions are the most important factor. 

For us Shipping puppies in cargo is always a risk, so buyer beware!  You never know what you are getting when you pick up that cargo box.  Been there done that and the risk  is as bad as the stock market these days!
