Greetings:  My name is Heidi. We love our Shih Tzu and I was raised with one, his name was Benji.  We have also bred Lhasa's over the years but the temperament is not anywhere near as cool as a Shih-Tzu.  I  started out breeding Pugs (Sugga-Mugga and Lexie Lou-Lou) approximately twelve years ago.  Then in between I bought an English Bulldog, "Daisy" from a local pet store.  We  ended up with a very sick  English bull dog, and a VERY LARGE vet bill.  I started investigating where my dog came from and the traumatic experience 6 week old puppies go through getting to the pet store from the puppy mill truck.  After learning all about this horrible puppy mill business, I began breeding my Shih Tzu fur babies, and have made a big difference in many families, and they have referred their friends, as well as their families to me for a new puppy. We love making a difference in people's lives and that is what we do. I  am very grateful for the new clients I have met over the years and I know that with breeding these wonderful babies I am enriching lives and blessing families.  After years of having my dogs groomed locally and all the pet-peeves I had come across, (abuse, long awaited appointments, and having my dogs stuck in a cage waiting to be groomed) my grooming spa......Exotic Paws came to be.  I decided to enrich our dogs with there own grooming spa, completed with an awesome doggie boutique.  In our local area it was so hard to find a safe place for our dogs to be groomed, with out the risk of abuse.  We have heard horror stories from all of you and realize  that EXOTIC PAWS was the best thing for our dogs, and yours.  Now on an everyday basis it is so much fun to meet all of you one on one and share my Shih Tzu with you, and get to see my puppies grow up in front of my eyes and see how awesome they really are.  Most of all learning more about the pet world every day, and having a safe haven for grooming is what Exotic Paws is all about. Our breeding program comes highly recommended and I love making a difference in the pet world full circle with your help.
